About the Author

My name is Amber Simmons (aka Amber Fisher), 31 year old wife and mother of two living in central Texas. I'm a User Experience designer and Instructional Designer in the making, and the bulk of my work consists of graphic art and writing. I love what I do.

I am the author of Philosophy of Wicca, my personal interpretation of Wiccan theology and philosophy. This site has nothing to do with this book, however, and I do not identify with that religion any longer.

What's this blog about?

Damn, that's a good question. Breathless Noon started out as an exploration of romantic theology. Today, as my interest in religion has significantly waned, I write about whatever strikes my fancy. Lately I've wanted to do nothing more than tell stories of my childhood. Mainly I wnat this place to be a safe haven to exercise my writing fingers. I suppose we'll see how that goes.

I write long, non-web-traditional posts. I won't sacrifice the art of writing upon an altar of pith and scannability.

But I do try to make the pages attractive and readable :)
